Sean Murrihy

Psychologist

Sean (he/him) is an AHPRA registered psychologist who completed his postgraduate clinical training at The University of Melbourne. He aims to co-create a warm and accepting therapeutic relationship with individuals in which they feel supported to explore their difficulties and find new ways to move towards positive change in their lives.

Specialties

Sean supports adolescents and adults (15+) experiencing a range of difficulties, including anxiety, depression, low self esteem and self-criticism, grief, and difficulty navigating life transitions and stress. Sean draws on Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), as well as mindfulness and self-compassion approaches.
