Website Terms of Use

Hey, welcome to our website. By using this site, you’re agreeing to a few simple terms. Nothing sneaky, just the basics to keep things clear for both of us.

Using this site

Our website is here to give you helpful info about who we are and what we offer. It’s for personal use only, so please don’t copy, share, or reuse anything without asking us first.

Info accuracy

We try to keep everything up to date, but we’re human. If something isn’t accurate or changes suddenly (like fees, availability, or services), we can’t always guarantee it’s right at that very moment. Always feel free to reach out if you’re unsure.

Links to other places

Sometimes we link to other websites we think might be helpful. We don’t run those sites, so we can’t vouch for their content or how they handle your info.

Our content

Everything on this site, images, text, design, branding — belongs to us (or we have permission to use it). Please don’t use any of it without getting written permission.

Legal stuff

This site is run out of Victoria, Australia. If there’s ever a legal issue, it’ll be handled under Victorian law.

Updates

We might update these terms from time to time. If we do, they’ll take effect from the moment they’re posted here. We’ll try to keep things fair and transparent, as always.

Questions?

If you have any questions or need clarity about anything here, shoot us an email at hello@makelemonade.com.au.

Cancellation Policy

We get it, plans change. Life is busy, and sometimes you need to reschedule. That said, we’ve got a few boundaries in place to help keep things running smoothly for you, us, and everyone waiting for support.

Changing or cancelling your session

If you need to cancel or reschedule your session, we ask for at least 48 hours’ notice. You’re in charge of managing your own appointments, and while we’ll always try to send a reminder, it’s a good idea to double-check that your contact details are up to date to be confident you will receive it.

By booking with us, you’ve agreed to the following:

  • If you cancel or reschedule within 48 hours of your session, a 50% fee applies.
  • If it’s within 24 hours, or you don’t show up — the full session fee will be charged.

Why we have this policy

We’re a small team, and we want to keep our care accessible and sustainable. When someone cancels last minute, it’s not just a lost hour, it’s someone else missing a chance for support.

This policy helps us:

  • Offer more consistent access to clients on our waitlist
  • Keep our business sustainable so we can continue providing care
  • Treat everyone equally and fairly
  • Avoid awkward judgement calls about what reasons count as “valid”

If something unexpected happens

If something major comes up, just reach out. We’ll always handle things with care and understanding. If we ever need to cancel or change your appointment on our end, we’ll give you as much notice as possible and help find another time.
