Elissa is studying Psychology and Gender Studies at the University of Melbourne, bringing experience across administration, youth mental health and customer service to the clinic. Through roles with headspace National and the Centre for Multicultural Youth, Elissa has supported inclusive-practice initiatives, coordinated projects and helped deliver culturally responsive mental health workshops for young people.
Elissa is passionate about creating welcoming, accessible spaces for people from multicultural, multifaith and multilingual backgrounds. Outside the clinic, Elissa hosts a student radio show on feminism and politics at the University of Melbourne’s Radio Fodder and enjoys exploring the ideas shaping people, culture and society.
