About us

Make Lemonade Psychology is a Fitzroy-based psychology clinic offering thoughtful, evidence-based therapy for people navigating anxiety, relationships, trauma, identity, and the complexities of modern life.

We believe good therapy should feel human, collaborative, and grounded in real psychological knowledge, not trends, quick fixes, or generic advice.

How it all started

Make Lemonade was created to offer a different kind of therapy space, one where people can talk openly about what is really going on.

We wanted therapy to feel thoughtful, human and collaborative, not clinical, rushed, or built around simple answers to complex problems.

Our approach to therapy

Therapy at Make Lemonade is collaborative and tailored to the individual.

We work together to understand what is happening, where patterns may have come from, and what might help create meaningful change over time.

What to expect with us

Therapy can look very different depending on where you go. Here is a little about how we work.

What we are

✓ Evidence-based therapy with depth and care

✓ Curious about the patterns behind thoughts, emotions and relationships

✓ Collaborative: therapy is something we work through together

✓ Comfortable exploring complex or difficult experiences

✓ Focused on meaningful, lasting change rather than quick fixes

What we aren't

✕ A crisis or emergency service

✕ A place where therapists tell you what to do with your life

✕ A quick-fix or life-hack approach to mental health

✕ A high-volume, production-line clinic

✕ ADHD or Autism diagnostic assessments. We prioritise therapy over diagnostic report services

✕ Legal or third-party reports (the courts, WorkSafe, employers).

Our clinic

Our clinic is located in Fitzroy, Melbourne.

We designed the space to feel calm, private and welcoming, somewhere people can have real conversations without the feeling of being in a medical environment.

Therapy can involve talking about things that are difficult or deeply personal. The environment should support that.

Our team

Make Lemonade is a team of experienced psychologists who share a commitment to thoughtful and ethical psychological care.

Each clinician brings their own areas of interest, training and style, but we are united by a shared approach: careful listening, curiosity about people’s experiences, and a genuine respect for the complexity of human lives.
