We’re pleased to share that Medicare rebates for psychology services are expected to increase from 1 July 2026.
Importantly, our session fees at Make Lemonade Psychology will remain unchanged.
If you have a valid Mental Health Care Plan and are eligible for Medicare rebates, the updated rebate will automatically apply to eligible sessions from 1 July 2026 onwards.

What do I need to do?
Nothing.
If you have a valid Mental Health Care Plan and are eligible for Medicare rebates, the updated rebate amount will be processed automatically for appointments from 1 July 2026 onwards.

Are your fees increasing?
No. Our session fees will remain unchanged.
Do I need a new Mental Health Care Plan?
No. Your existing Mental Health Care Plan remains valid until it expires or you have used your available sessions.
How much will I save?
Clients seeing a Clinical Psychologist will receive an additional $3.80 rebate per session.
Clients seeing a Registered Psychologist will receive an additional $2.60 rebate per session.
Will the rebate be paid directly to me?
If you’re eligible for Medicare rebates, we will continue to process your rebate as normal after your appointment.
The rebate amounts above are expected to apply from 1 July 2026 and are subject to final Medicare confirmation.
