TAC-funded telehealth psychology

Psychological support after a transport accident—from wherever you are

If you have an accepted TAC claim, you may be able to access psychology appointments by secure telehealth. Lemonade provides practical, compassionate support to clients across Victoria, including people living in rural and regional communities.

No travel. No waiting room. Just professional support from a place that feels comfortable and private.

Funding and approval requirements depend on your individual TAC claim. We can help you understand what information is needed to get started.

TAC funding

How TAC-funded appointments work

TAC may fund psychology treatment when it is reasonable, clinically appropriate and related to injuries from a transport accident. Telehealth can be used when it is suitable for your needs.

Your eligibility, available supports and any approval requirements are determined by TAC. An accepted claim does not automatically guarantee that every service will be funded.

1. Make an enquiry

Tell us that you have a TAC claim and share your claim number, accident date and contact details. You do not need to explain your full story in the enquiry form.

2. We check the next step

We confirm whether the service is appropriate and whether evidence or TAC approval is required before your first funded appointment.

3. Meet securely online

Attend from a private place using a phone, tablet or computer. Where funding is confirmed, we invoice TAC directly for approved services.

Frequently asked questions

Before your first appointment

Do I need an accepted TAC claim?

TAC-funded treatment generally requires an accepted claim. You can still contact us if you are waiting for a decision, but we will confirm the payment pathway before providing a funded service.

Do I need approval from TAC?

Approval requirements depend on the timing and circumstances of your treatment. For psychology treatment beyond 90 days after the accident, or when treatment is restarting after a gap, TAC approval may be required. We will clarify what is needed before you begin.

Will I have an out-of-pocket cost?

Where TAC funding is confirmed and the service is billed within the applicable TAC fee arrangements, we can invoice TAC directly. We will explain any possible fee before your appointment and will not assume that funding has been approved.

Can I use telehealth from a rural or regional area?

Yes. Telehealth is designed to make care accessible regardless of distance, provided it is clinically appropriate and you have a private, safe place to attend.

Can I attend while living interstate?

Potentially. TAC can fund some services received outside Victoria for people with accepted claims. Please enquire with your claim details so the appropriate requirements can be checked.

What do I need for a video appointment?

You will need a phone, tablet or computer, a reliable connection and a private place where you feel comfortable speaking. We will send simple joining instructions before the appointment.
